If you go to Threads.net, you’ll find a spinning galaxy…

But don’t worry, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg, that will change in the next few weeks!

In a recent tweet, Zuckerberg announced that “Search and web” functionality will be coming soon to Meta’s popular Twitter clone.

He expressed excitement about the team’s pace of shipping, indicating that they are working diligently to bring new features to Threads.net.

Threads has already seen impressive success, with 100 million signups achieved faster than any other consumer software product in history, as reported by Reuters.

However, it seems that retaining users has been a challenge, with more than half of the signups not sticking around.

Despite this, Meta is determined to improve the app and enhance its features. Just last week, Threads introduced the Following feed, allowing users to prioritize tweets from the people they actually want to read.

One highly anticipated feature that users have been eagerly waiting for is a desktop web version of Threads. Adam Mosseri, the boss of Threads and Instagram, has repeatedly assured high-profile users that it’s in the works.

Personally, I can’t wait to spend more time on Threads once I can easily access it from my work PC!
